February "Coffee House"

The ETAL February “Coffee House” gathering will be held Monday, February 05, 2018, 5:30-7:30 at the East Texas Regional Arts Center, 364 N Austin, Jasper. Bring your music, poetry, books, stories, tall tales, etc. as well as your favorite dish and join the fun. It’s free and open to the public young and old.

Opening Reception for the "2018 Lakes Areas Pastel Society Exhibit" Postponed

The opening reception for the “2018 Lakes Area Pastel Society Exhibit” which was scheduled to be held at the East Texas Regional Arts Center on Saturday February 17^th has been rescheduled for May because of illnesses among  members. Exact dates will be announced at a later date.

Upcoming "2018 Spring Oopen"

The upcoming ETAL “2018 Spring Open” exhibit is rapidly approaching. Opening reception is Saturday, March 24^th, 2-4 pm. “Freedom to roam” is subject matter rule. Be creative!!! Maximum size is 18x24 or square inch equivalent including frame (Measure because we will-Space is limited). 2 and 3 dimensional works will be accepted. It will be a judged exhibit with a $200 1^st place award, $100 2^nd place award, ribbons for 3^rd place and honorable mention. Works may be brought to the Arts Center in Jasper Wednesday March 21^st or Thursday March 22^nd . The Arts Center is open from 10am-4pm Wednesday and Thursday (out of town should call in advance) Works should be ready to hang. Entry fee is $35 for 1, 2, or 3 pieces.
