ETAL 2011 Summer Art Camp
The East Texas Art League will conduct their 2011 Summer Art Camp June 7 – 10 at the East Texas Regional Arts Center. Children 6-16 are eligible. Cost is $40/child which includes most supplies. ETAL May Monthly Meeting
May’s ETAL Monthly Meeting: Monday May 2nd, 6pm
The May monthly meeting will be held Monday, May 2nd at 6 pm at the Arts Center.
The program will be provided by JHS librarian-Becky Wilson. Her presentation will be entitled “Artsy Crafts”. She creates works of art using recycled books, bottles, etc. Bring your favorite dish and several friends and come socialize with an enjoyable group of people.

Opening Reception for "Spring-Signs of Faith" Exhibit
The opening reception for the “Spring-Signs of Faith Exhibit” will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the East Texas Regional Arts Center, Jasper, TX from 2pm-4pm. It will run through May 25, 2011.
Being an open exhibit it will show case both 2 and 3 dimensional works by some of the finest artists in the East Texas-Louisiana region.

Patty Davis One Woman Exhibit
Patty Davis will hold a one woman show entitled “Patty’s Colors: Watercolor, Acrylic, Collage” February 26th to March 26th at the East Texas Regional Arts Center, Jasper, TX. The opening reception will be held Saturday, February 26th from 2pm-4pm. The public is invited to see the works of this gifted Huntsville, Texas artist.
The event is presented by The East Texas Art League who owns and operates The East Texas Regional Arts Center, 364 N Austin St., Jasper, TX. The February monthly meeting will be held Monday, February 7th at 6 pm at the Arts Center. The program will be provided by fellow member Richard Clower. His presentation will be entitled “Water: Current Update on Status of Water Conservation at Dam B”. Richard has been actively involved in East Texas water conservation for several years and was responsible for having a regional meeting of The Texas Conservation Alliance at the Arts Center in 2005. This is an opportunity to educate yourself in the battle over water rights in the East Texas region and specifically Dam B. Bring your favorite dish and several friends and come socialize with an enjoyable group of people.
