January Exhibit: "Jeanette Moyer: Retrospective"

The East Texas Art League is pleased to present a special exhibit by one of the top artists in the East Texas area: “Jeanette Moyer: Retrospective”. Moyer has been an artist for over 60 years and this exhibit will present examples of her work over the span of her creative career. The opening reception will be held Saturday, January 9, from 2-4pm at the East Texas Regional Arts Center, 364 N. Austin St in Jasper. . The exhibit will be on view through February 6th. "12x12" Exhibit Kicks Off ETAL Fundraiser

Shown is a painting by artist James Black. It's just one of the paintings that will be available during the holiday season at the East Texas Regional Arts Center.

The East Texas Art League will kick off a special fundraising art exhibit entitled “12x12” on Friday, Nov. 20 with an invitation only reception at the East Texas Regional Arts Center, 364 N. Austin St in Jasper. The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday, Nov 21 from 10am to 2pm; and will be on view through Dec. 18th. This exhibit is underwritten by the Milam Street Gallery in Jasper and the Ampersand Art Supply Co. of Austin, TX. The Ampersand Company donated 50 special twelve inch square panels which were distributed to area artists to use in their creations. These original works of art will be available for sale and silent auction and all proceeds go to The East Texas Art League, a 501-3c non-profit organization that works to promote the arts in the East Texas area. From now until Sept 25, please stop by the Arts Center and view the work of Tommy and Jean Humphrey's talented students, ages 5-12. Under the Humphrey's guidance the students have produced high quality paintings, drawings and ceramics. This is not an ordinary "student" art show, so don't miss it!
